EDUC 406 - Learning and Learners

This course examines major concepts, principles, and research associated with theories of human thinking, learning, and achievement, with special attention to the social-cultural nature of learning and the role of students’ prior understandings and experiences. This course will provide experience in using research-based concepts and principles in designing, planning, and adapting instruction for K-12 students. Individuals taking this course must earn at least a B- in order for the course to count towards preliminary credential.
