ART 222 - Painting I

This course is designed to familiarize students with basic oil-painting techniques through an exploration of observational painting methods and techniques. Color theory will be explored, and students will be introduced to the work of many contemporary painters. Painting II ART 323 serves as a continuation of Painting I and emphasizes conceptual development.
