ANTH 211 - Topics in the Anthropology of Asia This course offers students a comparative study of the diverse cultures of Asia. The course implements anthropological concepts to examine the internal and cross-cultural mechanisms shaping and reshaping the region. The impact of social and cultural change resulting from shifting local, national, and global dynamics will be examined through detailed ethnographic studies of specific cultures and societies within East, South, and Southeast Asia.
