EDUC 250 - Urban Education
In this course students will learn about both historical and contemporary issues in public school education, which have led to opportunity gaps between underrepresented groups. Students will study the schooling experiences of Latinos, African Americans, and Multilingual Learners in K-12 settings. Local school visits and educational documentaries will be utilized as experiential and pedagogical tools.
Pre-req: ANTH 211 or CHDV 105
