COSC 100 - Introduction to Computer Systems
An overview of how computer systems work. This course will emphasize logical and procedural thinking and also give students practice in computation, abstraction, and creation. Topics include logic, binary arithmetic, binary encoding of data, algorithms, simple computer programming, understanding how the internet works, website architecture, and internet security.
Pre-req: Minimum grade of C- in MATH 076 (or higher) or minimum score of 1 on the Math Placement test
