COSC 350 - Database Design and Implementation This course introduces the theory and practice of designing and implementing database systems. Current software environments are used to explore effective database design and implementation concepts and strategies. Topics include: Structured Query Language (SQL), conceptual data modeling, logical and physical database design, database normalization, schema creation and data manipulation, and transaction design. Students actively design and implement database projects.
Pre-req: COSC 100 or COSC 120 3 credits
