HIST 360 - Race, Class & Gender in Modern Europe Explores the history of the categories of race, class, and gender in Europe since the late eighteenth century through the present, and the manner in which those categories have both enabled and circumscribed human actions and state policies. Examines theoretical approaches to the study of race, class, and gender; historical processes and events that employ race, class, and gender; and historical events that question conventional understandings of race, class, and gender.
