ECON 361 - Environmental Economics This course will investigate economic theory, concepts and tools pertaining to the environment and natural resources. We will unravel many of the assumptions underpinning microeconomics and cover in great detail the challenges of environmental policy. We will assess the role of government in providing public goods, including the necessary knowledge and institutions to help manage ecosystems. Last, we will explore decision making and markets for natural resources and grapple with the concept of sustainability.
