ENGL 373 - African-American Literary Tradition An examination of the development of the African-American literary tradition. Among the writers and topics which may be considered are slave narratives, the oral tradition, Wheatley, Douglass, the Harlem Renaissance, Hughes, Hurston, Baldwin, Wright, Ellison, Walker, Angelou, and Morrison.
Pre-req: ENGL 110 , ENGL 120 , ENGL 220 , or ENGL 221 3 credits
