MATH 300 - History of Mathematics The development of mathematics from 500 BCE to the 21st century. Topics may include the history of Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometries; number systems throughout history; the history of calculus; famous solved and unsolved problems; famous mathematicians and their results. This course is offered in the Fall of even-numbered years.
Pre-req: C- or better in MATH 141B or a score of 4 or higher on the AP Calculus BC exam 3 credits
