MATH 280 - Abstract Thinking Designed to bridge the gap between lower-division and upper-division mathematics courses. Sets; symbolic logic; proof-writing; induction; equivalence relations; functions and bijections; countable and uncountable sets; number systems. This course is offered in the Fall.
Pre-req: C- or better in MATH 142 or a score of 4 or higher on the AP Calculus BC exam 3 credits
