SOWK 343 - Social Work Practice II: Working with Groups This course examines generalist practice with various forms of groups, while acknowledging personal and group strengths, capacities and resources. Students learn to apply the generalist practice model to groups, including task groups and intervention groups, examine empirically based interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of their own ethical practice with people who share diverse and different identities.
Pre-req: SOWK 240 or SOWK 241 3 credits
