This is a certificate program rooted in the liberal arts and sciences with the mission of educating and developing healthcare leaders with a broader perspective of leadership and management who can help implement changes for the greater good of all; participants, patients, healthcare organizations, and the community. In a time of rapid change, we bring knowledge and the capacity to use it effectively to the people most closely associated with improving our healthcare delivery systems for the benefit of all. This program uniquely brings liberal arts thinking to organizational leaders and integrates education with practical application.
The certificate program is 13 months beginning in January and completion in the following January. Participants receive 20 credits of college coursework. This includes 17 credits of required WCHL courses and 3 credits of elective coursework. Assistance for selecting the elective course will be provided by the WCHL program Advisor.
