Sport Management Emphasis

Students interested in pursuing graduate degrees in the specialized fields of Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Motor Learning, Sport Psychology, or Sport Sociology should consult with their academic advisor to discuss graduate programs of choice.

Designed for students interested in working in public or private agencies dealing with sport. The courses include the completion of the departmental core as well as:

• BSAD 130 - Business and Society 3 credits
• BSAD 320 - Marketing Principles 3 credits
• BSAD 330 - Management and Organizational Behavior 3 credits
• ECON 201 - Principles of Economics: Micro 3 credits
• KNS 373 - Sport & Recreational Management 3 credits
• KNS 382 - Sociology of Sport & Leisure 3 credits
• KNS 475 - Sport Law 3 credits

Digital Photography or Art

 Complete one of the following:

• ART 200 - Digital Photography I 3 credits

• or

• ART 203 - Digital Art Workshop: Graphics & Media 3 credits

Kinesiology Field Work or Internship

Complete one of the following:

• KNS 092 - Field Work in Kinesiology & Nutrition Science 1 credits

• or

• INTD 299 - Internship 0 to 3 credits
