• KNS 340 - History & Philosophy of Sport and Leisure 3 credits
• KNS 382 - Social Issues in Sport 3 credits
• KNS 440 - Motor Learning & Control 4 credits
• KNS 489 - Seminar in Kinesiology & Nutrition 1 to 2 credits

Sport Management Emphasis

Students interested in pursuing graduate degrees in the specialized fields of Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Motor Learning, Sport Psychology, or Sport Sociology should consult with their academic advisor to discuss graduate programs of choice.

Designed for students interested in working in public or private agencies dealing with sport. The courses include the completion of the departmental core as well as:

• BSAD 130 - Business and Society 3 credits
• BSAD 320 - Marketing Principles 3 credits
• BSAD 330 - Management and Organizational Behavior 3 credits
• ECON 201 - Principles of Economics: Micro 3 credits
• INTD 299 - Internship 0 to 3 credits
• KNS 175 - Introduction to Sport Management 3 credits
• KNS 375 - Ethics In Sport 3 credits
• KNS 475 - Sport Law 3 credits
• THEA 101 - Essentials of Public Speaking 3 credits
