CHDV, Pathway Integrating Child Development and Education Specialist (PICES)
PICES is an intensive program that allows students who major in Child Development to also obtain a preliminary Education Specialist Preliminary Teaching Credential. Students will complete all the required coursework for the Child Development degree and the education courses required by the state - including student teaching- to receive a Preliminary Education Specialist Teaching Credential. Upon graduation students will hold both a B.A. degree and a Preliminary Teaching Credential.
The program requires an application in the student’s sophomore year with a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0.
