Economics Core Courses

Students interested in graduate study in economics should meet with their economics advisor or the economics department chair to discuss additional coursework that will best prepare them for graduate school.

Business Economics Concentration

Students intending to pursue an MBA or an entry-level position in business should complete the following additional courses:

Business Administration Courses

• BSAD 201 - Principles of Financial Accounting 3 credits
• BSAD 202 - Principles of Managerial Accounting 3 credits
• One other upper division Business Administration course, 3 credits

Precalculus or Calculus

• MATH 085 - Precalculus Mathematics 4 credits

• or

• MATH 141 - Calculus & Analytical Geometry I 4 credits
