A minimum of 30 credits, of which 21 must be at the 300 level or above

Required Courses

PHIL 310 - Classical Philosophy 3 credits
PHIL 315 - Modern Philosophy 3 credits
PHIL 425 - Seminar in Philosophy 3 credits
PHIL 498 - Senior Thesis and Colloquium 0 to 3 credits
Electives in PHIL to reach the 30 credits required for the major

Value Theory

Value Theory, select one of the following:

PHIL 330 - Ethical Theories 3 credits
PHIL 340 - Contemporary Social Philosophy 3 credits
PHIL 385 - Feminist Philosophy 3 credits

Note:

Students may petition the Philosophy Department to accept one appropriate course from another discipline as an elective in the major.
