GUIDELINES FOR A MAJOR IN MATHEMATICS & ECONOMICS

Degree requirements include 58-59 credits of which 27 credits are in Mathematics and 24 credits are in Economics, plus 4 credits for the Senior Seminar in Mathematics or 4 credits for the Senior Project in Economics, and an 3 additional credits in Computer Science, Economics, and/or Mathematics.

Senior Project or Senior Seminar


Senior Project in Economics or Senior Seminar in Mathematics (4 credits)

Electives


Elective course credits in Computer Science, Economics, and/or Mathematics (minimum of 3 credits)

  • 3 credits
  • Any 300- or 400-level Economics course (1-4 credits)
  • Any 300- or 400-level Mathematics course (1-4 credits)
