MATH 085 - Precalculus Mathematics

Polynomial functions and their graphs; rational functions and their graphs; exponential and logarithmic functions and their graphs; trigonometric functions and their graphs; solving equations and inequalities; applications of functions; limits of functions; introduction to continuity. Recommended for students who plan to take the Calculus sequence. This course is offered every semester.

Pre-req: Not open to students who have received credit for MATH 085 or higher.
Pre-Req: C- or higher in MATH 76 or 3 or higher on the MATH placement test.
Math 80 does *NOT* satisfy the pre-reqs for Math 85.
