ENGL 313 - Magazine and Journal Editing

This course is focused on curating, editing and executing Whittier College’s literary journal, The Greenleaf Review. We will investigate the current literary journal landscape, its history, its role in our culture and how we can make our college’s contribution to that culture and history a proud one. Students will learn big-project organization skills and teamwork. They will think conceptually and practically and work with designers, printers and budgets. Students play decisive roles in the curating, editing and producing a major publication.
